RSS signal detector?

Just to be able to diagnose potential problems faster, I’d like to be able to detect RSS signals, but the Tigo RSS Detector is $300, which kinda exceeds my ‘nice to have’ budget. Is there a cheaper alternative?

I mean, just detecting RF at 120 to 150 kHz would probably tell me if there is a signal, and I can always use a spare RSD device with a spare panel to see if it’s sending the correct signal.
