I am in the process of building a "home" for my inverter charger, batteries, etc. I actually designed an enclosure I was planning on building this weekend.
The challenge was where to place it. One location was more convenient but would require a much longer wire run, therefore more $$$.
This morning I was discussing my options with my wife. She has been busy reorganizing our basement and household.
Out of the blue, she suggested a closet in one of our rooms. It would be a very convenient location and much closer to the proposed solar panels.
While this will require a rethink on my part, her suggestion was a stroke of genius. She knows nothing about solar but her suggestion well matches what we have been doing with our household.
Lesson learned. Now back to the drawing board.
