Here's my Houseboat Solar Configuration. It's powered by 1000w of solar (and a supplementary 5500 Onan generator to supplement, if needed). No shore power, the houseboat is on a mooring ball full time.
The batteries are 3x 12v EG4 400ah wired in Parallel. Not show here is the Victron GX Touch Screen, which is routed into the boat.
