Brew the Newb here.. My first thread start, so please be gentle..

I have a travel trailer with a WFCO WF8965MBA Converter. According to all the documentation:

Model WF-8965
-Output: 65 Amps DC
-Input: 105-130 VAC,
-60 Hz, 1110W
-Three Charging Modes:
- Normal/Absorption
- Bulk Mode/Charge Mode
- Float Mode/Trickle Charge

The bulk mode charging method of the WFCO will output 14.4vdc for a maximum of four hours, or when the current draw drops to approximately 5amps (whichever happens first). So, not Lithium friendly when on shore power.

Batteries:
- Valence U27-12XP (qty: 2)
- running in parallel to take advantage of the maximum amp hours (138*2=276ah)

I am wanting to replace the converter with a Progressive Dynamics (https://www.progressivedyn.com/lithium-converter-replacement-units/) converter to accommodate my new lithium batteries.

What worries me is the 65amp output from the WFCO converter. After researching, I found that Progressive Dynamics only have models that support 60 amps or 70 amps. Should I go with the higher amps (70a), or lower amps (60a) model? I was talking with a PD Support engineer, but our call was cut short and I didn't get a chance to ask that question.

Thanks in advance!!
