XiaoXiangBMS app, Esk8 Lacroix board, after installing new drive & bigger motors bms app won't charge board. Dumb newbie in over his head. ALARM CODES

Hi,
After installing new Boardnamics BN M1-AT Gear Drive on my Lacroix electric skateboard 12s4p p42a 21700 molicel and replacing motors from 6389's to 63100's the board would not charge. Charger showed green as if fully charged but was no charge left.

After downloading the xiaoxiangBMS app it started to charge properly again!

But now It will not charge again. The battery shows fully charged in xiao & stormcore app and shows green light on charger again but it is not fully charged.

I'm seeing:
- a MOSFET software locked alarm
and also:
- A cell over voltage protection alarm

What is the BMS rated for on discharge? A screen shot of settings would be great. Also, what C do you discharge the battery at?

The batteries you are using are much higher C rate of discharge than I’m used to. I suspect the MOSFET alarm you mention which I don't see on the pics may have over worked the MOSFET.

Charge and Discharge BMS 12s 20a. Sorry can you be more specific on screenshot settings asking for. Here are a few I hope will help below:. Not sure about the "C" question discharge battery at. How do I figure that out?

When I recently had probs with my XiaoXiangElectric BMS app, a few suggested using Overkill Solar app. With it I was able to overcome my problem, inability to reenable charging and discharging after disabling them during TT winterization.

Recommend trying the overkill app as mentioned by @Boomerweps .

As a electric bike, I suspect an over amp is a possibility for the power required to start, but that would make an over amp.

“C” probably irrelevant to the discussion but it’s how many times a amp hour rating of a battery it’s discharged

Thank you for the reply. I'm hoping to find a fix w/out having to add more apps as I'm confused enough with xiaoxiangbms, Stormcore and vesc tool! My brains on overload. Not sure how anyone fully gets these apps. You need at least an associates degree for each app lol
