Could almost double as a recliner when outdoors. Ventilated mid back from the multiplus 2 cooling intake, neck heating from the exhaust like a Mercedes convertible. And then heated lumbar support from the SCC :)
That's what the lightning pro was at an initially promised $40k, super limited numbers, then Fords greed got the better of them with multiple price increases taking entry level to nearly $60k
Building pcs has become easier over time. When I first started assembling pcs back in the 486/Pentium days there was always the dark arts of autoexec tweaking and drivers to deal with. Nowadays things are much simpler, pop the parts together install os, drivers updated online and off you go.

So everyone that has brought solark in the past are stuck on the China servers and only new customers get AWS in the US? Surely a migration system would be basic common sense? Especially given the premium pricing/local support model.
The Victron multiplus and Quattro designs have been proven over many years. The eg4 6000XP is very young in comparison. Given eg4 basically abandoned it's prior generation with crazy things like trading in your old units warranty towards new units etc.
All comes down to your tolerance for risk.
Fired up my 150/35 for first time. Being able to tell it to use the user defined profile I had created for my IP22 12/30 charger and having it automatically double the values as I'm going from 12V to 24V...it's the little things :)
The real irony would be if there's a failure of one of those 14kWh batteries and the setup picture is used against them to deny warranty coverage due to not following user manual with regard to minimum spacing and support on the bottom of the units.
I would stick with multiplus II as they have the integrated transfer switches etc, feed the generator into that. 70A versus 100A not a huge difference.
The price per kWh when doing DC fast charging is generally much higher than your residential rate, presumably due to demand charges being paid to the utility. Delta differs a fair bit based on location/state.
California rates especially seem crazy high:
Found this site for prices in Europe...
Got the shakes for some more blue. Ordered a smartshunt 500 for $117 from Pike via Amazon, tipped off by deals thread. Looks like 19% price reduction for that model.
Go to Settings, Battery, then enable expert mode, then under battery preset set to user defined you should then be able to adjust all the voltages for each stage.
Once you get into the 280/304 cell size yes there seems to be at least a $1000 in savings. For a 100Ah sizing the pricing for pre built is more competitive especially if you're willing to series four 12V batteries together.
$901 for a four pack of the minis...
Decided I'm not going to accept some kind of random failure/fire of my non imo branded solar disconnect in plastic box. Ordered a midnite solar MNVP6 combiner box and three of their 20A DC fuses to keep everything tip top with NEC.
Smoke detectors can work simultaneously these days, i.e the one in the basement goes off and all the others in the house also trigger.
Biggest issue I've seen is the shelves being made of some thin wood or fiber material and collapsing
What extra features are you referring to?
The other day I had my son install the Victron connect app on his phone so I could show him how the ip22 12/30 charger can be configured and to view historic data. All he needed was the 6 digit pin for the device. Zero personal data or account required.
