At least it will last a lifetime.

Maybe they cater to people who don't want to setup lawn chairs in front of their inverters and stare at them while on the phone with tech support.
  • Post in thread: So I am going to try my hand at reconditioning lead acid batteries...

Cook the battery with the caps off for a bit and look at each cell. The first cell to start to gas is the bad one and closer inspection will most likely reveal trashed, crumbling plates. If equalization alone won't fix it, the battery is done. I would instead use the time to get a second job...

Yeah so when your Predator quits at night, you'll still have a light to see Predators.

  • Post in thread: Half price electric cars

Wind turbines harness kinetic energy from the wind which is the result of the heating of a gas. Unfortunately you cannot control when the heating of that gas so it's output is variable. Windmills were used to harness energy before gasoline cars were invented and are another example of going...

Unfortunately the corresponding increase in your bodies radiant surface area causes net heat loss. ?
  • Post in thread: Ordered new batteries from USA/Canadian company and they are not honouring their warranty

The longer they wait to replace the better it is for you. Also, I hope they shaft you since you expect them to warranty the 3 you didn't pay for. How weird is it that you would even have the gall to ask them to do that?

  • Post in thread: Framing the container

If your budget is less than $100.00 and you don't want to buy wood or screw anything to the wall, that doesn't leave many options other than just buying a couple tubes of adhesive and sitting inside container and huffing it. Also, we were trying to help and merely posted what we had done to...
  • Post in thread: Trump

When democrats win we all lose. You also failed to state what threats you're talking about. And yes, we absolutely hate the guts of the vaccine-mandating lockdowner commie parasites currently in charge and the enablers who vote for them. 😁

I thought it was 1 million. You guys always say 1 million. It's also worth noting that it was the scientific community that let the germs out of its lab in the first place and then lied about it.
  • Post in thread: Half price electric cars

Not that kind of don't care. I don’t want gas vehicles regulated out of existence until electric cars and trucks can do exactly what gas cars and trucks can do for the exact same price or less with equal service/repair costs 10 years down the road. The lack of empathy from the EV dorks who...
  • Post in thread: My LiFePO2 battery caught fire

Yeah I had to put a canary in ours to monitor air quality when one of my kids nearly died when they went in there after I had used the toilet after a large meal on Cinco de mayo.
  • Post in thread: Trump

Are you expecting some independent rogue who gets along with nobody and has nobody backing him as the only acceptable candidate? That seems out of touch with reality. The big government cat is out of the bag. If Trump wasn't at least somewhat good for the United States they wouldn't be...
  • Post in thread: Is Battleborn worth it? $$$$

They use cylindrical cells which are supposed to be more durable. IMO, they are definitely not worth it for a stationary application or motorhome. Maybe a good choice for an overlander or something like that. The cost/benefit has been superceded.

The Neocon party of Bush is the same party of Obama and Biden. Let's NOT forget that. We want conservative, not republican
  • Post in thread: Shipping Container solar AC

Again, if it works it works but I would opt to roof the outside and get some eaves and shade the container that way. I was only going to put the roof that the panels are mounted on but then opted to do the whole container. 12' x 3' metal sheets are currently $50.00 at homes depot so 15 sheets...

That's just happenstance. I liked big trucks way before I knew I had a little dick.🤥

We are supposed to be dead from Aids and Rainforest destruction already.
  • Post in thread: Inflation Reduction Act may be Unconstitutional - Take your Credits ASAP

The crappy part is that I'm 100% for a good amount of reduction in fossil fuel usage but liberal retards don't care about the environment, they just want more control.
  • Post in thread: Domestic Terrorist

Men are naturally programmed to defend women and children. We all experience a deep visceral reaction when we see a women or child being harmed or even just plain hurt. The left is doing their best to insult and confuse this natural instinct. I'm supposed to defend and protect children once...
  • Post in thread: Can Solar & Wind Fix Everything (e.g., Climate Change) with a battery break-through?

Agree that continued energy storage development is good. I envision a world where the siding and roofing on a structure is all solar and easily serviceable with batteries in each house and of course tied into a grid where power sharing occurs. I don't agree on synthetic meats. Quality of life...

😳😳 Shit. You mean if I go to China I'll get a free vasectomy?
  • Post in thread: Signature solar horrible customer service

Everyone gets grumpy this time of year. Low Kwh harvests during the winter. Guys have to drag out the mules to get water out of the well and take cold showers while eating cold soup out of a can. At least if they have an EG4 AIO they can warm their hands and beverages up on the case of the unit.
  • Post in thread: Trump

Of course that's why they raided his place. He took just a tiny fraction of dirt on these folks. He's quite good at not letting on as to the things he knows. Some of it I'm sure was "russiagate" stuff. Essentially intelligence showing the whole thing was a hoax.
