SOLVED! Seems like ,for whatever reason, the (android) Phone needs to use the english language setting. Then the app works fine.. if other than english and chinese are used, the app crashes.. wierd, but thrue..

Anyone with a up-hi inverter and a 4g transmitter module? I have problem with the power statistic in the epever cloud. It will not show any daily wattage.. are the settings that can be wrong?

Thanks for answer. The wheel are 1.5m in diameter, so its got alot of power with all that water pulling. And i was thinking about this gear unit from Aliexpress, the waterwheel dont go fast, but its powerful, so the gear ratio fits fine.

Tryed this? Not the same controller, but still cloud setup.

My 4g module is also offline. It's a cloud problem.. lets hope it don't take long. ..

I found the fix.. i'l need to buy the Victron VE Direct Bluetooth module. It's for device's that dont have bt, but can also plug in to the smartshunt. Tha bt signal is stronger on this module. I'v ordered one now...

Thanks for answers, I'l do some testing and report back my findings.. I will also check the balance setting. The batteries are of the same type cells, all cells are tested with a capacity tester. After a storrage period on my cabin, with main switch off, its allways battery 2 that is slighty...

Don't know? . Did not notise any changes.. but its always good to do a upgrade I think..

Another thing i'd like to share is that its possible to buy a special usb/db9 cable to upgrade the firmware on the up-hi. Just ask for firmware upgrade on epevr support. I have upgraded mine.. no special changes to see, but it might be a good thing to do..

You need to set your phone language to english. Mine was set to my native lang, the app stopped crashing when set to english..

My Xiaoxiang App for the overkill smart bms crashing when the current goes negative.. tried to do a battery test, and disconnected the panels, connected a load , then the Xiaoxiang App shut down. Strange.. when i try to reconnect, it start in a second, then shut down. If i stop the discharge...

Ok, so the wifi is not any better.. we keep on trying.. i have also contacted epever Patric on messenger/facebook/youtube. He has not ansvered yet. He make instruction videos, and also work at epever solar.. maybe if you to try to contact him, you can get a ansver?

I also got info from the support that nextyear they will make a upgrade in the inverter that make automatic firmware upgrade..

Nice! So, nmc should ballance in the whole curve? Interresting. I have only ballanced in the upper voltage, like in float voltage . Then the cells will be ballanced while in "rest".

Thanks. Interresting... seems the victron is the one that uses the least amount of power.. I think average wifi router is about 5watts.. but have not tested myself. Guess i need to order a victron then.. ?

SOLVED. the firmware upgrade in the inverter/charger dud not fix it . Replaced the invertermodule in the generator, that fixed it. Working fine now.

No one Tryed to adjust this?

Its on android. Also trywd other aps and versions. Wery strange.. it only happends when i turn on the load on the inverter. When the solar input is higher than the load,it works fine, but crashes when i turn on the big load..

Thanks, i think you are on to something here.. ? i have sendt all my mesurements and all info to rhe epever support. Recomending to test it themselves, and update the firmware if possible. Is there anthing i can do to trick the inverter or the generator to think it's all right?

Yes, the best would be to have a standalone panel just for the heater. Then it wont mess with the batteries.. maybe the panel will be covered in snow, maybe not. With luck, the temperature in the battery is on the +side when i get there in the winter. Is'nt it like using a 100w heater on a...
