  • Post in thread: Victron charge settings

Thanks guys, I searched for this info all over this morning and couldn’t find it. All I could find is how to size the breaker by times 1.56 ….and so on.
  • Post in thread: SOK batteries shutting off

I’m now running with a fan and light to try and stay above the limits Dexter mentioned. Originally I was running well below these limits with just the modem and router. I added the light and fan to try and keep the batteries from going to sleep. With just internet running in the beginning it...

This is the info the battery shows on my Cerbo , could this be why it keeps setting off the High voltage alarm? The charge settings on the Mp I have set to 57.6 for absorption like cc advised, the CVL limit as you can see is 56.0V and I can’t change that, it’s set like this and locked. Maybe I’m...
  • Post in thread: 300a Class T Fuse and Block

This appears to be a data sheet on them. https://www.bestconverter.com/assets/images/ips/fuseblockmanual.pdf
  • Post in thread: Victron system wire size

So now I’m to the fuses . I have 2/0 coming off batteries going to a victron on/off switch, then to the Lynx shunt. Should I place a T class fuse right after on/off switch before the wire plugs into the Lynx shunt ? This is confusing because the shunt has a spot also for a CNN fuse.

This thread that didn’t seem to have an update on if the issue was resolved. You mention it kept tripping something ? https://diysolarforum.com/threads/victron-scc-odd-behavior-scratching-my-head.28663/page-2#post-362493 The other thread on the Quattro you deleted right after posting this for...
  • Post in thread: How can Current Connected improve?

Today I called and gave one of your tech’s all the info from our system. I was going to buy a battery and needed all of the com cables for our system to talk and the com cable for the battery. Your tech told me you guys recommended two batteries because it could damage my Victron Multiplus 5K ...
  • Post in thread: SOK batteries shutting off

So I called current connected and spoke with one of their techs Monday, he didn’t really have any ideas but wanted access to my victron system so I gave it to him, I’ve now waited a few days and no update on what they think is causing this issue. I had to install the system at our cabin and it...
  • Post in thread: SOK batteries shutting off

@HighTechLab If you have time next week can you maybe see if you have any ideas why the batteries are doing this. Thanks again.
  • Post in thread: Victron charge settings

What I don’t get is when I unplug communication it takes 57.6 and charges without tripping anything and goes to float. Why it trips OVP, is odd since my 5K won’t keep pushing Voltage to it when this occurs. At least not that I can see. Seems like maybe the BMS is telling the Victron to stop. I...

  • Post in thread: NEM PGE Application Questions

I have a question. Does everyone revert to the lower price after some time frame…X amount of years ? I was talking with a friend at PG&E and he thought that was the case.
  • Post in thread: Please check my new Victron setup

I have a generator I’m hooking up and it can provide up to 59.1 amps. This system is fully off grid and no chance it will ever have grid tie. This is the generator at our cabin I’d like to hook into the ac input side. https://generator.kubota.com/products/60hz/gl_7000.html if I’m...
  • Post in thread: SOK batteries shutting off

I had issues when running closed loop and the BMS wasn’t allowing the batteries to receive more than 56 volts. CC said to run them open loop and this fixed that issue. Now they charge all the way to 57.6 without issue, but this shutting off is new. I tried putting the com cables back on and now...

  • Post in thread: Gr00ldude48 - beware!

How bout you keep your word and sell what was promised ? I’ve never once been burnt , but seems you have a history of being a shady flake. I guess I could just let everybody know your full name so they know to beware when dealing with you.

  • Post in thread: How can Current Connected improve?

Thank you. Yes absolutely no loads till we get use to the system. Our plan is to put it together at home and just learn how to use it before actually installing it in the cabin. I appreciate your help and love this forum and all the helpful folks here….
  • Post in thread: Please check my new Victron setup

I watched your video and you mention 1/0 windy nation cable , I’m guessing that was a mistake? Or are you running 1/0 from the inverters down to the lynx system? I keep rewinding your video and I’m about 90% sure that’s what you’re saying. Your video is hard for me to follow.
  • Post in thread: Gr00ldude48 - beware!

I also bought from this seller and didn’t receive everything in the deal. I guess new in box doesn’t really mean that with this fella. He has been stringing me along for over a month now.
