Pulled out my Canon 1Ds camera to take pics of my current art work and found the battery and backup battery dead dead dead... thought maybe I could repair it so opened on up and found a bad cell 18650 and tried to replace it unsuccessfully with a flashlight battery but the top nub was too long...
Been working on this one over the last month (after getting back to my art work).

TLDR - in DC circuits VA = Watts
https://www.techtarget.com/whatis/definition/volt-ampere-VA
What is a volt-ampere (VA)?
A volt-ampere (VA) is a measurement of power in a direct current (DC) electrical circuit. The VA specification is also used in alternating...
follow up on cables.... I just 'built' a DB9-> RJ11 from one of the non-working cables I bought while trying to get this to work and success! will post a better wiring/connection/drawing/photo in a bit...but the connections listed above are correct (disregard the colors depending on what you are...
Well!!!! Solved that mystery.... The comm cable supplied with the inverter IS a Reverse Type cable... i.e. it is 'ended' pin 1 of one end goes to pin 8 of the other end (or something like that).
Using that original cable that came with the 10K48 inverter it works, but only if the correct end...
My battery dropped below threshold apparently this morning and all hell broke loose... I though it was all set up to charge from the grid but nothing was happening...no matter how I changed the settings....this went on for over an hour....even switched back to my Ecoflow Delta Pro for...
Update: This thread will be a common place for asking, answering, and sharing information on the Sungold 10KW 48V Split phase Inverter (which is a rebranded SNRE ASF48100U200-H inverter to the best of my knowledge). Feel free to Ask Answer Post Information in that regard.
I'm sure I'll have a...
So my thoughts on all this and the "Is there always a sale at SS" thread are this...
I'm gonna standby for a while... keep testing/evaluating my partial replacement using the Ecoflow Delta Pro, continue to look at various products etc. and see where we go from there.
I just wish someone had told me to go to USER mode sooner!
:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:
Woulda been much happier as I have been for the last week or so...Everything running much smoother and not requiring constant babysitting!

I inadvertently put too much solar into the input and released the Magic Smoke. Totally dead.
I contacted Ecoflow Support and fessed up to my mistake and asked how much to repair.
They are going to replace it with a reconditioned unit. That's customer service!
Go Ecoflow!

Flicker Test!
My office lights (led) are on a different circuit from my office plugs and when using the Ecoflow Delta Pro supplying power to both I'd get a flicker in the lights when the printer came on and etc.
I just enabled the Sungold 10k (via transfer switch) to power the office lights as...
Well yeah the corporations are always going to try and grab what they can and make as much money as they can. That's just the nature of the beast. And that's why I prefer to be independent of them. The phone company enjoyed a monopoly for decades but it was strictly controlled...not so much the...
