Well!!!! Solved that mystery.... The comm cable supplied with the inverter IS a Reverse Type cable... i.e. it is 'ended' pin 1 of one end goes to pin 8 of the other end (or something like that). Using that original cable that came with the 10K48 inverter it works, but only if the correct end...

And YES!!!! The Pi and Solar Assistant Sees the whole schemer...Five Packs and all the details!!

So my thoughts on all this and the "Is there always a sale at SS" thread are this... I'm gonna standby for a while... keep testing/evaluating my partial replacement using the Ecoflow Delta Pro, continue to look at various products etc. and see where we go from there.

I inadvertently put too much solar into the input and released the Magic Smoke. Totally dead. I contacted Ecoflow Support and fessed up to my mistake and asked how much to repair. They are going to replace it with a reconditioned unit. That's customer service! Go Ecoflow!
