Given the scenario where the fridge isn't owned yet, I think Riders suggestion to use the estimated annual KWH usage on the Entry Guide label to start the calculations from makes the most sense. It's really the only option unless you can find someone with the same fridge that can give you real...
Building 12v batteries with Li Ion is sort of a pain due to the cell voltage. 4s puts you at 16 volts, which may be too much for the application. 3s is at 12, but only fully charged and it quickly drops to the 10-11 range, which also may cause problems with something that really needs 12-13...
In watching mine charge/discharge, the balance function doesn't go active till the cell spread is over 50mV even though the max cell spread is set at 10. I'll have to go back through some logs to see more details. There may be a time element involved where there needs to be a certain spread...
A damaged cooling system will allow more time to escape before temp monitors start triggering alarms and shutting things down. I guess if the transformer has a pressurized cooling system, a low pressure alarm would still go off pretty fast, but not like shorting the windings. Thats off line...
I'll be following this. I have 2 U27-12XPs on the way to play around with before I go off the deep end and get a bunch more... Could I get a copy of the software as well? I spent some time looking on 300 mpg to see if it was on an older post, but no luck. Will be ordering the plug parts...
It's illegal in the Denver area as well. My brother in law works for one of the cities out there and he said the rain harvesting is restricted so the natural rainfall can replenish the ground water
Discharge test went well, cells stayed balanced on the way down, till 3.1 v, then one hit 3.0 before the others. I was just running my fridge, so max draw was 35 amps when it went into defrost mode. I played around with the numbers in the limits section and it looks like those can't really be...
Correct on the discharge rates. The battery BMS should trip or at least log an event on sustained over current. Is the status light blinking red? The fact that your breaker is tripping and not the battery shutting itself off would indicate whatever load you are running is too much for the...
