I recently ordered a “in stock” battery from a company. It was a lot of back and forth until the truth came out (they didn’t have stock) and I ended up cancelling the order.
I emailed Currentconected to confirm they had the battery in stock. They did.
and under 24 hours from my purchase it’s...
I placed an order with current connected on Feb 10 (Saturday so weekend, and late at night). It was shipped Monday and arrived at my us address today.
Can’t say enough good things about them! My sok rack battery was also purchased from them. Their, customer service can’t be beat
I’d like to know who, where, what, when, how you are using to make this ^ and all of the other pictures and diagrams in your awesome downloadable guides?
when I finally decide what I’m doing I’d like to be able to do this. Sadly I may have to resort to napkin diagrams, and taking a picture...
Just to reply to your input:
1. Yes. Expensive. In my opinion excessively expensive for what it is.
2. 42ohms there are fab shops in my city. They are not cheap. Not even close (likely why this Mount is $$$). Also now that “green” is cool, and “climate change, etc” everything is more $$$...
Solar is a non essential, personal necessary thing for us.
We have a no grid, remote, boat access cabin. It will be decades (if ever) that we see our money back from the investment.
We used to run a genny every night for electricity. Only in the evening. Now we have electricity 24/7...
many people think HR is there for the worker. Being harassed? HR will protect you. HR has your back. HR is your friend. They aren’t.
my wife works in HR. She sums up perfectly what HR is, and isn’t In one very simple sentence. I quote:
”a company always wants to cover it’s own ass, and HR is...
The only thing you did wrong here, is you decided to feed a troll. It happens. We’ve all done it. Just stop, and the troll will go away.
Have a great day Will!
we have a no grid cabin. Remote. It’s a hassle getting things out there.
It’s easier to not use electricity, than to,generate it. So low idle is huge. Less power used = less of everything else.
i have a multipluss 3000/48/35 and a 250/60 CC. It’s top notch stuff. Well worth the money. It just...
I have no problem with people getting paid for content. I don’t have to subscribe, and I don’t have to buy via the affiliate link.
but I like to honor the, source, and support efforts that help me.
I don’t understand why companies don’t produce content that displays their videos? maybe sponser...
Refund officially processed on my Cc.
no issues cancelling my order and getting refunded. The only I issue I had was being lied to.
don’t sell me something you don’t actually have. Tell me it’s backordered and I’ll likely just wait it out.
at my stage in my life my time is my most valuable...
keep us posted. Sounds like it’s not going to be an issue.
in my opinion it’s gone from “the customer is always right” to “the customer is lucky to have us”.
I understand margins, and markups, and a cost to doing business. But support is (or was) built into to that. Many companies simply...
Meh. The lines are so blurred now. Does anybody actually “make” 100% of their product entirely in the US? Or Canada?
I don’t think it actually matters where anything is made. Do the parts have to be made locally? Is it about jobs?
at the end of the day for me it’s reliability (quality) and...
I’m Canadian. i live an hour from the border, and have a parcel service US shipping address.
we frequently travel to the Us for mini weekend get aways and I bring back tons of stuff into Canada that I have shipped to my US address.
I feel I’m fairly unofficially qualified to offer an opinion...
unfortunately for the time being I’m stuck with the baggage carrier. We had a huge family blowout. (mum wanted to,sell us 1/2 the cabin and BC (baggage carrier… I like that, lol) would get the other half for, free when mum dies. Umm I don’t think so. We countered with an offer,to,buy the whole...
This what I want to do (picture from,YouTube video). Battery, inverter/charger on a hand cart. 20A power bar wired directly into Victron output , and extention cord with twistlock or rv plug on it wired into the Victron input.
Wheel it home (or to the neighbors cabin) for winter.
the Volthium 12v drop ins are “reasonably” priced if compared to Battleborn.
the 24v rack is about 1400 more than a trophy, or sok. They don’t even list the price of the 49v, lol.
im partial to tier 1 stuff (controllers and inverters) but I don’t know if the price premium is worth a “listed”...
If you look up AVE on YouTube he has links in his videos for the stickers. He sells them on etscy. He’s got a bunch of different stickers. His Chanel is a hoot to watch as well.
I’m not going AIO. Separates.
i. Going to go with 48v.
2. I’m not limited to 1400 watts, it’s a start (or maybe good enough). I just don’t want to buy a 30 a cc and then have to buy a bigger one. Easier to buy a bigger cc and then add panels if needed.
I have absolutely no idea the difference...
How much more time would you give? I was already told 2 weeks due to “carrier delays”. Now it’s customs clearance (which may be a part of carrier delay).
based on my experience with customs 2 weeks wait is bs. But…. If they are talking about a large shipment, then maybe it’s treated differently...
