Anyone here know how I can connect up the Victron 250/100 MPPT to the Cerbo GX? Thank you!
You can use ve.direct or ve.can if your charger supports it.Anyone here know how I can connect up the Victron 250/100 MPPT to the Cerbo GX? Thank you!
ok, thank you for the quick response. I have a charger right now but the charger I have is junk and i'm upgrading my system. I've thought about victron but currently running 12v system and moving to 48v system. You can use ve.direct or ve.can if your charger supports it.
ok, thank you. My 250/100 didn't come with a ve.direct cable.... errr.... i'll order one. Thank you!The ve.can allows for daisy chaining a series of sccs together, if you are only going to have one or two then ve direct should be fine.
Definitely very strange. Did you get it working?Just got mine today and doesn't detect any solar input. Measure 139vdc before I connect PV, then it goes to zero volts when I connect. See a slight spark on PV wire. Unit sees battery and firmware was updated.
Disconnected older BougeRV solar charger, connected Bluetti and nada.
No, I have not got it to detect PV input. Looks like it is going back to Amazon.Definitely very strange. Did you get it working?
Who was the vendor thru Amazon? What do you mean you plugged it into the bluetti? No, I have not got it to detect PV input. Looks like it is going back to Amazon.

That stinks but saw you are getting a replacement. Good luck. I love my 250/100 but wished I had gone with the 450/100No, I have not got it to detect PV input. Looks like it is going back to Amazon.
It's hard to justify paying double the price for the higher voltage capability and other additional features. It does look like you need to go to three strings to get the most of the 250/100 if you have ~40V 400W panels. Before the non RS price reduction it wasn't such a big jump to get to to the rs line. That stinks but saw you are getting a replacement. Good luck. Most / all of my panels are almost 50voc each. Fun stuff. It's hard to justify paying double the price for the higher voltage capability and other additional features. Awesome sauce! Glad it's all working now.Back in business with replacement Victron 250/100. Working like a charm, it just idles along.
