Big old FLA can ride through a large voltage spikes without blinking, modern BMS for LiFePo probably not so much.

I’m wondering if this is a rough draft of the manual? Almost every single midnite manual Ive read shows the spd connected to the pv positive, and battery negitive.

they never show a connection to ac neutral, but I saw a you tube video that suggests this connection. The guy used to work for Midnite, and is an electrician.

I just saw this in a google search. Looks like current-connected is selling a midnite epanel for victron gear:

Seems kinda on the expensive side? I have much of the internals anyways. It WOULD provide a nice clean instal, but yikes.
