I hooked my 8 400w Canadian solar panels in series and could only get volts no wattage in the #2 mppt on 18k. I then tried to just hook up 5 panels in series on the ground just to make sure it wasn’t something with the wiring on roof. Im still only getting volts. I double and tripled checked. Not sure if there is something to do in the inverter or what. I changed the pv input to the mppt number I plugged into. Having 5 panels hooked up on the ground is pretty fool proof I’d think. At a loss. I tried mppt #3 with same results. Not sure what else to try.

I read your post a couple times and its not clear if there is a difference based on which MPPT the array is connected to (does it work on any of them?).

My first thought was that panels produce volts. The SCC/inverter (aka load) pulls the current. Are you trying to pull anything from your panels to charge a battery or power a load?

Why do you have AC couple set?

Also, no batteries are appearing.

My bet is that those two items are contributing.

Not sure if this is your problem, but I recently had an exact experience - on a newly installed array, I got the correct array voltage, but no power (current) at all. Finally traced it down to totally loose fuse bus bar screws. I had purchased a Midnite solar combiner/disconnect & specified 20A fuses, which the distributor agreed to install. There is a top 'busbar' where each fuse has a separate screw - the guy who changed the fuses never tightened them. I guess they had enough metal connection to read volts, but when the sun came out, nothing. It never occured to me to check this as they are not that apparent in the combiner. Anyway, hope your issue is just as easy to fix. Check all of your connections!

I would make sure the panels are on the mttp you want, and then power cycle the 18Kpv.

I have a older SolarEdge system ac coupled.

I shut off my power pros because they kept draining down when I didn’t have enough power coming in instead of drawing from the grid. I wanted the batteries as just backup for now until I get more solar hooked up that can cover my daily usage. I DMd the EG4 rep on here and never got a response back on what I needed to do for battery setting. However customer service has been less than helpful I’d say politely. Been trying to get this system dialed in all week I’ve been off. Spending countless hours on phone with customer service and other than firmware update the first day, I’ve either figured the issue out on my own or got help here from members to solve every problem. They were supposed to call me back in 10 minutes they said the other day and never did. I was in the middle of something with one guy and he said he had an emergency and had to transfer me to someone else that did nothing. He had to check on my issue and call me back(which he didn’t). So I hate to keep posting here about my issues but members here are 1000% more helpful at this point with ideas to troubleshoot.

With no batteries installed, AC Coupling won't work.

As for your other settings, I am pretty sure that the lack of batteries, plus your settings is causing the issue. For some reason the 18 doesn't want to take in energy.

Yes, If you plan to run without the battery, you probably need to select NO Battery until you plan to use them again.

I turned on the batteries and I connected the 5 panels on the ground, restarted inverter and I’m showing wattage. Thank you again for the suggestions. It’s really cloudy today so not much production.

I’d like to know what settings I need to keep my batteries as just backup for now but still have them powered on. I have power backup setting on in app.

Good to hear. If you want batteries just as backup, go into Discharge Settings, and On Grid % (or VOC) and set it to near 100%, I'd go 95, just to leave some room. Then the batteries will not drain, unless you lose grid.
