EG4 Hybrid Minisplit Max Power Draw Fluctuations

I've noticed that the maximum wattage draw (whether using the grid alone, PV alone, or in normal hybrid grid and PV mode) for my EG4 minisplits lately while using the lowest possible setpoint (61F) in Turbo mode are well below what I saw last year. While the 24k unit would regularly pull over 2000 watts last summer, and the 12k unit over 960 watts, lately they are maxing out at roughly 1400 watts and 560 watts, respectively, while in Turbo mode and a 61F setpoint with outside temperatures in the mid 80s (Florida). Just wondering if others are seeing something similar, and whether it is simply a seasonal fluctuation where the power draw will increase when outside temperatures rise into the 90s and above again.

If not, any suggestions regarding why my units will not draw the watts they used to (other than any PV attributions, as I am also seeing this using grid power alone)? None of the units' temperature sensors appear to have vibrated loose.

The wattage required for cooling can vary from 190 to 2250W, depending on the ambient temperature. If the cooling wattage is higher or lower than expected, it's advisable to check and clean the filters of the indoor unit.

Thank you. Sure enough, when I remove the temperature sensor from the plastic enclosure that clips to the fins on the back of the outside unit and cover it with my thumb and finger for a couple of minutes (the temp sample time seems to be every minute or so), the app indicates that the unit will pull another couple of hundred watts.

I do not see a similar (or any) effect watts-wise if I do the same with the temperature sensor on the inside unit (although the room's "current" temperature shown on the app increases).

I am also seeing similar issues. I have the 12k EG4 mini-split (using grid + solar) and it maxes out at 550W or so even with fan set to turbo, temperature set to 61F (minimum) and outside temperature in the low 80s. Everything is "working" but the power level is simply mediocre. I would guess at 4k to 6k BTUs instead of 12k. This kind of makes sense since the rated wattage is 1100W for this unit.

Maybe we need a firmware update? The power handling seems to correctly balance grid vs solar power but it's almost like the power cap is incorrectly set to 550W.
