Yeah, seems 25 is a good bit more than most the others, which is appealingMost angle of all ballasted ground mounts?
I do not know.
Might be adjustable ballasted ground mounts out there.
My optimal angle here is 30 but 25 works fine for me.

Yes, @AZ Solar Junkie and @42OhmsPA, for wind ratings the system has to withstand the wind from any direction.I don’t know if their wind tunnel tests included from the rear - maybe it did - but keep in mind that the buckets themselves leave only about half of the back of the panels exposed to wind pressure, so I’m sure that helps.
Shipping airspace isn't cheap...@Patrick at PowerField
With all due respect, you are dead to me until something is done about the shipping cost.
I hear you. I drove 3 hours round trip to pick them up to avoid the shipping cost@Patrick at PowerField

NAZ shipping cost is pretty high.I hear you. I drove 3 hours round trip to pick them up to avoid the shipping cost
Ha, nice. I like the "due respect" and "dead" in proximity. But really, I get it. If only we had control over the shipping industry.@Patrick at PowerField

Yup NAZ charge me $1000 for 120 of them just for shipping. Was interested in these but shipping is a killer. From NAZ, 5 power fields are $449 + $450 for old dominion freight to North Carolina. That’s ridiculous.
I agree. We're based in VA, mfg in MN, NAZ is in AZ, you're in NC. It's hard to shrink the miles among all those dots. Was interested in these but shipping is a killer. From NAZ, 5 power fields are $449 + $450 for old dominion freight to North Carolina. That’s ridiculous.

Technically 119.
I thought that was outrageous but that’s NAZ not Powerfield.
Yup.On a unit basis, that's actually pretty reasonable at $8.40 each.
What kills me is that it's less about weight and more about bulk, shipping 10 vs. 5 shouldn't affect the price that much, but it's almost always calculated linearly.
Yup.
119 units was on 2 pallets when I got them..
Not really heavy just bulky.
I shouldn’t complain though cost me $2000 shipping to get Sinclair rack that I sold.
Wow..just for shipping?FWIW, Digikey was $2K for 120 of them...
@42OhmsPA, circling back to the idea of "autonomous" racking, folks are definitely working on that. For example, Nick Carter over at Solar Installation Machines. See the early Sollega version in action here. He's working on designs for a PowerRack system also. Fun stuff.Shipping airspace isn't cheap...
Maybe an autonomous PowerRack with a solar panel attached and free delivery is in the works (delivery times vary based on ☀)

OK, based on the Google Street View, I guess not.@Patrick at PowerField If I drive to Falls Church can I load these into my pickup? Just inquiring.
Saw @sunshine_eggo Digikey ship from location.
