Good morning everyone,
TLDR: need a basic setup as simple and cheap as possible.
Location: near Gesha, Bulgaria, EU
I have a property that is currently under deep renovation, there is no electric (no distribution board or wiring), no water but the grid connection is close by and can be connected once all the basic stuff is installed, this is a long way off at the moment.
I currently have 4x Yuasa 12v 22ah lead acid battery sat here doing nothing, I would like to utilise these if possible to run some basic lights (4x LED) for small periods of time, and charge drill battery when needed.
I do wish to install a 48v backup system for the house once we get further into the build but not just yet, as there is the occasional power cut from snowy weather in the winter and high heat in the summer, the system I would install would most likely be a 20kw rack mount system, but that's for another day..
2s2p for 24v
If my maths is correct, 2x 24v 22ah gives me 528wh storage, halved as they are lead acid battery will leave me with 264wh, if I throw in 2 solar panels and a charge controller that should be enough right?
Any suggestions on solar charge controllers?
I already have a 12v and 24v inverter I have used in vehicles before, I'll wire either one up, depending on the response I get from here.
Any other suggestions you would like to add? I may be able to get hold of a generator and this might be able to be incorporated into the setup?
Thanks
