Eg4 6000xp voltage issues

Bought a eg4 6000xp and was getting inconsistent voltage from the eps. Ranges of 60+ volts per line. To 90+. Randomly changing. I disconnected everything and tested the unit with no load and still got this readout.

The help at S2 is pleasent but have no idea of whats wrong...so i drove to signature solar yesterday and bought a second unit (as I plan to expand the system anyhow) and plug it up and this unit is outputting around 200v total and about 100v per leg. Ranges up to 110v per line sometimes..

This all confirmed with no load and isolated from all hookups besides batteries.

Is this an experience others have had? Should I give up on the 6000xp and move to something more expensive?..

Thanks in advance

Was the UPS voltage output set for 120/240v during this test? I believe the inverter can defaults to 240VAC, however, it would be recommended to see if this is set properly.

Open neutral faults can cause unstable voltages. Pictures might help.

It certainly sounds like you've got something very wrong in your software or electrical hardware configuration. There's quite a few of these units in community hands without any issues like this and you're getting it twice in a row.

I completely isolated the unit. Ie unplugged all Inputs and outputs besides batteries and pv.

And am getting all over the place readings. Its not stable. Acting the same way the other unit. I also updated firmware. Regardless of my setup.. the unit doesn't put out consistent voltage isolated from my setup outside of battery and pv.

Also the unit has been in 240 with all tests on setting "4" from the jump
