Is there pc software that works for powmr?

Ordered an powmr aio unit but it appears they really want to lock you down to use some smartess app via an wifidongle?

I dont want to buy that wifidongle. I do have a rj45 to usb from my epever, can that be used with some pc monitoring software?

On powmr´s home page this software is mentioned to be fully compatible with the unit I ordered POW-HPM5.6KW which is great, the software looked good.=) Already have an rs485 to usb cable im using to read data off my epever ssc. Hope that one works.

It is a bit tricky to get it working once you have it loaded. Look for the slide button for Open Com on the left of the first screen. Also in order to change settings you might need to use a password. I have been successful with the PW: administration
