I've got a really weird problem that I'm trying to search out the resolution of, and it appears to start with the MSDS for LFP batteries and a dangerous goods declaration to my shipper.

Since my order includes EG4 PowerPro (Outdoor) WallMount batteries, I was asked to submit MSDS and Dangerous Goods Declarations, so I reached out to my vendor (Signature Solar), and submitted the paperwork they gave me.

Now the shipper is saying that "Our lithium battery policy prohibits <us> from shipping UN3480 over 22lbs per container." so they are breaking the shipment up and sending it piecemeal, which is going to be a real hassle for me to deal with.

Can anyone who knows these things tell me if LFP batteries really are UN3480 (like Lithium Ion), or if there's another code for them that might convince the shipper that they are less-hazardous than Lithium Ion batteries for shipment?

Thanks!
