I have a solar Array 2400w that i want to run a 48v system with... Need some suggestions of charge controllers. SO many to choose from!???? Please!
Is that one or 2 of the HQST 60am? Look at everyone but them... going to check them now!I'm a fan of the HQST controllers. Their 60a would be perfect. You'll need a 50a or larger to utilize the whole array.
You're about to get a dozen $$Victron$$ recommendations. Just not from me.

Are you talking about the...Thanks
So rewire them to parallel instead of series????... because right now they are in series with the combiner box.So 6s4p, should put your VoC in the 130v range so you'll need a Max PVInput of 150v.
You'll want a combiner box to put all those strings in parallel if you don't have one already.
All total you should be in the 130v VoC and 25a range when your strings all come together. The HQST will be plenty.

I spotted that also from the pictures. Nice box framing but the wood sits just high enough to allow shadow to be cast. I even had a small shadow problem when I used a simple clip on my panels that had a bolt that was from the backside meaning an inch of thread was above the panel face.Recommend you redo the array mounts. Having the panels sit in a "pocket" creates opportunity for shading to occur. It's very easy to dismiss that "those little things can't create much shading," but the reality is that even small amounts of shade can be devastating.
A chainsaw to the west trees would be a good idea also. Or change the azimuth if no trees to east and south.Recommend you redo the array mounts. I use a pair of EG4 MPPT 100-48V. Work very well after the firmware update. These will turn off/on automatically to eliminate parasitic draw overnight. You can put all the panels in series up to 500V and run small wire.I have a solar Array 2400w that i want to run a 48v system with... Need some suggestions of charge controllers.
