Hello. I am trying to design an arduino circuit using one of these BMS from aliexpress.
I plan to not pass current through the MOSFETs but use them as a signal to tell my arduino when they are open or closed. I intend to send 5volts to the positive and read the negative on a digital pin of the arduino. When I read 5v on the negative I will know that it is closed circuit, etc.
What I want to know is if these BMS power up using these wires? Will the BMS power up using the leads connected to the battery cells?
It has a bluetooth app, so I will mostly be using it to balance cells, and as a battery monitor.
