Off Grid Camp Solar upgrade

For about a decade I ran a basic pwm system at camp to power my rv/camper. A few years ago I picked up a 21` 5th Wheel to fix up, and I'm using the old camper as sort of shed. Throughout that the battery bank was typically flooded 6v GC2's in series/parallel. My camp is somewhat isolated, the idea starting out in solar was to have a way to charge my jeep battery just in case, plus charge up my phone, flashlight etc. Things have certainly changed over the years, as well as what I can do with off grid solar.
Time - for some upgrades.

Over the weekend of 8.12-8.13 I made two major upgrades to my camp solar system:
Renogy Rover 40amp mppt controller.
Four Tel 12-170FGa AGM batteries.

My recent or prior system consisted of a 30 amp PWM controller, 4x 6v flooded GC2 batteries, and a 1000w inverter.
I still don't use the inverter much as I typically use 12v. But when I need to charge my tools, run a small crock pot, etc., it's handy. It also does not have direct connections so the way it's 'plugged' into the system I'll need to treat that as limited use.
There's space on the board for next years (spring) expansion. I'm planning for another controller & a 400 watt array on a ground mount. So I'll be sure to update this thread when the time comes. For now I'm continuing to use my existing panels, 1x 145w, 3x 100w, & 1x 60w in parallel on homemade mounts. As they say we all learn as we go with solar. But I'm quite comfortable making changes & maintaining my off grid system. This is my first run with AGM's though. I hope they pan out.
Happy Camping. ☀️ ?
