After some discussion I contacted signature solar and they sent me a link to their refurbished eg4 6000ex, decided 1 unit wasnt gonna be enough. I purchased the 2nd unit and awaiting its arrival.
Right now I have my battery bank with 4/0 cables running into a T class 300amp fuse, into a battery disconnect then into a 250 amp buss bar, then from the buss bars it’s 2 awg going into the inverter per the manual. I currently have 5, 48 volt 50ah batteries. I plan to add 3 more and have 2 strings of 4 in the future.
My question is. Should I add another t class fuse for the 2nd bank or run the 2nd bank into the buss bar.
Or should I put the fuses in the inverter cable side after the battery disconnect. Any input is greatly appreciated.
