I am new to solar, have a portable system, 2 ,
100 watt panels and a PWM charge controller (Renogy voyager 20 amp)
panels (Eclipse) say Vmp 17.7 and Imp 5.7A
would I get much better efficiency is I went with a MPPT controller?
or is it not worth it. Does Renogy Make good products? If I change controller what brand would be recommended?

17.7V x 5.7A = 100.9W

With PWM pulling panel down to near battery, and assuming full range of battery voltages:
Dead flat, 10.5V x 5.7A = 59.9W
(near) Fully charged, 14.4 x 5.7A = 82W

No matter how you cut it, not so flash.

With MPPT's decoupling of panel and battery voltage, and assuming 93% efficiency:
100W x 0.93 = 93W
