Gotcha, so instead of just linking the two inverters together with comms like usual, I just link them both to the solar assistant, and the solar assistant sits in the middle? Or do the units still link together with comms the usual way, in addition to a USB out going to the solar assistant from each inverter?

The MPP's still need to link together to be able to create the 120 -240 correctly - if they don't share comms they can not regulate the phase difference.
Each inverter also needs a connection to the SA.
