Planned set up:
3 x Growatt SFP 6000ES in paralell
4 x seplos 200a battery bank- not daisy chained and instead using centralised busbar.
Victron smart shunt
Solar assistant

There seems to be multiple ways to connect coms for batteries:
1.)Battery coms to inverter and SA reads off inverter.
2.)No coms between battery and inverters and instead batterys coms daisy chained and single cable from master battery to SA.
3.)No coms between battery and inverters and instead a cable to each bank from SA

Is there a correct or better way to do this?

Based on research option 3 seems to be preferred. If option 3 is used, then what defines the min and max voltages to instruct the battery stops charging/discharging? Is it the inverter settings or is it settings inside the BMS?

thanks
G

Depends what SA functions do you plan to use?
Il have grid back up and the main thing I'd like to be able to easily set the batteries to charge to a certain percentage during cheap night rates. 2-5am for example. But not every day and only certain times of the year

I'd also be interested in other possible automations and notifications based on battery % via home assistant.
