Hi, I am in the process of planning an off grid system and am a bit uncertain about the battery capabilities. My goal is to have about 3 days of power backup, using about 15 kw per day. From what I've read, the battery is rated at 85 kwh, but also lists it as a 5.3 kwh battery. Simple question is how many batteries would I need to store the estimated 45 kw of power? More in-depth, can someone explain, or link me to a basic explanation of the difference of the 85kwh rating vs 5.3 kwh? Thanks in advance for any help. And don't worry, I will be hiring an expert in the end, but I want to understand my system before spending the money.

85 kWh is the pack, which is made up of 16 modules, each 5.3 kWh.

The nominal voltage of the module is around 22 V (+ or - depending on charge state), which is nice and safe (no electrocution risk, but there's still a fire risk). These are wired up in series in the pack, making for about 350 V, which will easily kill you, so extreme caution is necessary when dealing with a whole pack.
