Steve, This is a diagram from Overkill BMS. Can you connect positive output on one BMS to negative output on another BMS? See the attached diagram.

BMS is 8S 100A Overkill. I've got some 1/0 awg left over from my last small build. And I've got some 3/0 awg that's new. Have not seen any recommendations except what comes with most BMS's. Just trying to get some free advice.

That may be true but a decent picture of the item on Amazon would have left no doubt what size these connectors were. They're going back.

If you have any clout with Amazon, if that is where you bought it, Amazon should step in and give you a 100% credit. They know they are selling items that break easily and it doesn't affect their bottom line to give refunds. That is how Walmart treats defects.

What are the LiFePO4 battery terminals made of? The 3/8" stainless steel bolts hold the 1/0 awg lug down onto a copper bus bar. How much resistance is present? The only equivalent copper bolts were for sale on E-Bay. The big box stores have copper split bolts.

Would a Victron Energy Battery Protect 12/24 Volt 100 amp between the DC-DC converter and the battery or between the DC-DC converter and the 12V Fuse Block prevent low voltage?
