I've been trying to get service on my Bluetti EB240 for 5 months. I provided a copy of my credit card statement showing the payment to them but they continue to make excuses like "we can't find your order info" and the one attached. This company is just plain crooked IMO.
Q6: If I replace the included MPPT module for a batteries expansion, how much solar input can I use when the EB240 is unhooked from the expansion batteries and is in stand-alone mode?
A:
The EB240 could have a maximum of 500W from solar panels without MPPT module. You should set panels of 400W...
My EB240 will support input of 500W and 68V OCV. If I put 5 100 watt 12V panels in series, in full sun I get about 300 watts input into the EB200. Does this mean I can add more panels until I get to 500W or is the voltage already maxed out w/5 panels? I just don't know if the lower watts means...
I'm trying to figure out how many watts I will save by using a 12V fan vs a 110V. For a fan that produces the same cfm, is it just the power to run the inverter for the 110V that you will save or are 12V more efficient in general? Thanks for any insights!
The idle consumption of the EB240 with 2400W lithium NMC battery and a 1000W inverter, tested at 15 watts/hr. Seems pretty high for a 1000W inverter. So at 90% DOD, it will be tapped out after 6 days without any loads. Is this low, high or average? Thx!
I'd like to create a poll for vendor ratings but I don't see an option to create a poll. If a poll isn't an option, what about a forum dedicated to this? There could be a thread for each vendor and each response could list the product and rate the vendor on product quality, value and service.
I've got a Bluetti EB240 2400 watt solar generator. I've got an upgraded charging brick that will handle 500 watts but I assume I can't just plug that into a generator and need to buy a charger made for this purpose. How do I go about finding the right charger? Thanks.
This is a tiny 48V system. The reason I went with 48V is I have a gas gen and am getting the chargeverter for backup.
See attached photo for components and let me know what's wrong with my fuses and wire sizes.
500 watt inverter @ 48V = 10A = 14 ga wire & 15A fuse
20A charge controller = 30A...
After buying my first solar generator strictly for backup power, I realized that it didn't have some basic features such as its not useable while charging which makes no sense whatsoever. Now I'm trying to figure out what other features I should look for in my next one. What features are...
I found this chart in another post but I'm a bit confused by the "critical vs non-critical" columns. I assume a laptop would both fall under the critical column. My panels are 150' from my 12V solar generator and with 400 watts of panels I'll be generating 33 amps so according to this chart I'll...
These seem like a really good value for $1000. About half the price of SOK batteries per watt. I'd like to hear some reviews before buying though. Anyone?
I just got off the phone with Signature Solar and they're telling me that I can't discharge and charge the EG4 Lifepower battery simultaneously. Please tell me this is a mistake. Now I'm trying to understand what I'm supposed to do for power while the battery is charging? I'm really confused...

See attached photo for components and let me know what's wrong (if anything) with my fuses and wire sizes.

The more I read about both technical and customer service issues, the more worried I get about spending another $4k on a solar generator. Seems like all the big names like Bluetti, Delta, etc. have terrible service. I already spent $2k on two bluetti EB240 systems 2 years ago and neither work...
I have complained and I see a lot of other people complaining about customer service. And now I know why.
Have you noticed that the companies that offer high quality products and excellent service are way higher in price than the Bluetti's, Signature Solar's and LiTime's of the world?
Look at...
Is it true my Bluetti EB240 can't be used while its charging? So every time it needs to be charged I'm going without power for 5 hours minimum? Makes no sense. Am I missing something? I never would have bought it had I known.
Newbie here. I want to run my camper from my Bluetti 1500. But I need to use grid power to run the camper a/c. Is there an easy way to be able to do both? Thanks!
I've got 2 Bluetti EB240's. One won't charge and the other has no AC output. Bluetti is being impossible about servicing the one that is under warranty so I sure as hell won't send them the other one. The question is what can I salvage from these units if anything? I assume the batteries should...
I've got a 10A 48V inverter but I'm using 12 ga wire for my entire system. Does this mean a 20A battery fuse would be best? If not, how do you size the battery fuse? Thanks!
I've got a 12V 600W (50 amps) panel array that is 70' from my 1000W solar generator. How big does the cable going from the array to the generator need to be? Or how would I figure that out? Thanks!
Some guy wired a transfer switch to my 5th wheel that plugs into my solar generator. Grid went down last night and after turning on my generator, I noticed only the GFI outlets worked. None of the 120V lights and standard outlets worked. After the grid came back on, I plugged the camper directly...
Looking at a Die Hard deep cycle marine battery but instead of AH, its rated for 160 reserve minutes. Is there a way to convert reserve mins to AH? Thanks.
I don't need a/c but trying to live without at least a small fan in the summer in Alabama would suck. So I ran the numbers and had a bit of sticker shock: 27w fan + 3w (inverter) = 30w x 16hrs = 480 watts x 2 days (cloudy days allowance) = 960 watt hrs. 960 * 1.35 (75% depth of discharge) =...
Am I understanding right that fast discharging doesn't affect longevity but fast charging does? If so, is there a rule of thumb for charging rate to maximize longevity? My Bluetti EB2400 has a 200W AC charger and I want to build my own 500W charger. Will charging it with 500W reduce the life of...
