Yep broke about a third of the way up. I’m currently watching videos showing repairs but I think it’s going to be easier to just grab a new cell (unless I can find a local company with all the kit needed)
I’ve had a chat to him and he seemed happy for me to send it back to him for him to fix or to fix myself. I’m thinking of having a go at fixing it myself though.
I have access to a pillar drill so thinking of buying a helicoil kit and giving it a go.
Let me know how you get on.
Sorry to open this again. I’m just setting up my Seplos Mason (BMS 2.0) and my Sunsynk Ecco 5.5 inverter.
Can I double check if this also needs the coms cable tweaking as mentioned or if it’s fine as it is. I know people have been mentioning the 3.6 and 8kw versions but keen to check if it’s...
I’d not seen the Seplos build video and my general Seplos YouTube searches hadn’t bought it up so thank you for sharing that. I’m going to watch it back now so hopefully no further questions on the build.
I’ll do my best not to annoy you with SunSynk questions now :)
No other inverters at all. This is the first one. I did wonder why the 3kw was referenced as I would have thought I could do 3.68kw anyway.
Do you think I should go back and confirm. It’s not even a 5kw inverter that I’ve got, it’s a 5.5kw so those numbers aren’t right either.
Just wondering...
That’s interesting. I’ve raised it with Gav at Lynx who I bought the battery from. He’s been excellent so far and happy to hop on calls to assist me so hoping it gets worked out. He was recommended on a few FB groups so I went down the word of mouth route and bought from him.
Are you sure? I’m just checking as it says 48v on the switch and the Seplos is also 48v isn’t it?
If it’s not right I’ll obviously go back to the company who supplied it with the Seplos mason kit.
I’m pretty sure it’s this one.
