How and were are you measuring voltage at battery and at the 6000xp? I suggest turning the unit off. Then using a multimeter to test the battery input terminals on the inverter, then test the terminals on the battery(with the battery breaker on). This will rule out a bad connection between...

Use something like the upcoming eg4 aio. I really like the idea of this setup. My thought is if the AC panel was on the opposite side from the AIO then it could be fork lifted into position against a wall either on the exterior, but in many cases the inside of a garage.

You are in an apartment. What kind space do you have for panels outside? Are you planning on moving anytime soon to a place with more area for panels. Seems your choke point is first budget and then maybe panel space. Route 1 is individual components. I recommend watching Will Prowses' DIY...

I know this is an older thread , but I am hoping that they design it to be able to communicate /parallel with the 18kpv. I imagine myself wanting to expand my PV a bit and also inverter capacity in the future, but another 18kpv is overkill.

I would get a second 6000xp for simplicity. If adding the Grow watt I would leave coms hooked to the 6000xp and not the grow watt. I was going to do this with a 3000ehv-48 and just tack on a Victron Phoenix.
