I have 16 of the Envision 305ah, in a EEl case, they are on a balancer(Hel Tec) and a 200a seplos BMS from EEL(w/case). They have 10 cycles on them, and have a balance of 0.005-0.029 mv, under this setup. They are tied into 8x100ah packs (3x 48v eg4 lifepower, 2 x trophy 100ah eve, 2 x Jackipier...
Would love to, but could not get comprsion plate to even start with foam on all of them, but in a couple of days I will pull pack apart and try again, will hit up Lowes and get some longer screws for the plate. Thank you for the advice.
As both of mine are from 18650, the envision, eve.
Envisions are better balanced as they have about 3 more weeks on them, and we're also on a 5 amp balancer. @89 I would bite, @$79 I am sitting down for the buffet.
Ok, I pulled and placed the hard plastic sheets between all the cells, I feel they were a little more compressed placing them back into the EEL case, followed Andy's advice for Seplos BMS set up and updated Ed firm ware on the EG4's. So tommorow will be get it all to full again.
Cool, and enjoy, My batteries took 2-4fays after order to arrive, 3 states away. The EEL box es both shipped from California 4-7 days. And about 10 days For BMS. EZEAL BATTERY has/had 200amp seplos BMS kits for $139. I ordered 2 1 to replace my mistake and 1 for backup. Note from me it to grab...
I have 3x eg4 lifepower 4 batteries, They all had various SOH, even thought all had same pack voltage, I tried numerous times to update firm ware. I finally was able to get the firmware updated and SOH is 99.5 on 2 of them and 1 shows 95.6. So we will see what happens.
(For anyone going insane...
Do the top balance or add 2-4 amp active balancer,(Hel-tec) works best when above 3.45v. Ran my Envisions with one for 2 weeks, tried the EVE without, so 20 full charge on envisions and 5 in EVE, Envisions are up in the 3.55V 109-140mv with 10 cells@3.58 range and EVE are 3.45-3.49 199-239mv...
You have to know what the loads for anything you you want to place on a circuit, (reason is more devices more amperage. I know you see the fridge go off/trip breaker, you need to see what load in amps is on this,( clamp mutimeter can be purchased today at any big box store)
In USA, I have ordered 2 of them, one holds theses cells in this thread, the other is EVE 304.
Both with 200a BMS, EVE cell fit like a glove, had to use DIY for bridge on cell 8-9( dual terminal.
The Envusion Cells do fit, mine took alot of pull here lush there, materials with battery box are...
Mine boxes were shipped Fed Ex, the BMS all from China and US delivery was by Lasership, my bms were flown o er to NewYork, customs, then shipped by them to here. Once in route from China its 24 h then 2-3 days from NY.
Yes thar shelf will work for 1x16 stack, the dewalt will do 18x48 will do 2x8 side by side and may do another 2x8, for $199. Same type of assembly, board vs wire shelf, mine holds 2x Trophy and 2x EEL 280Ah.
This is what I thought was going to happen! I had $set aside to add #4 ex6500/16 Can Sol 400w bifacial and the ground mounts(all from Signature Solar) then the units I was using gave up thier smoke, bad warranty experience, so no more cash from me to them.
I have 2 of the 280-310AH boxes
1st order box took two weeks from China,
BMS arrived in 10 days
2nd box was here in 5 days, BMS took 12 days.
Problems:
1: wire pulled from PCB linker board(battery wire)
2: Have had 2x of the BMS(200AH) fail.
3: BMS Bluetooth is weak signal when case is...
As you have said, you want set and forget. For me Solar Assistant is the device that gives me real time info on everything that is hooked up to it, no 5 min delay, can be used from anything that is online and can connect ti site. Adjustment can be done on the fly with this app and I swap off...
