diy solar

4 MWh SRNE ASF48100U200-H 10kw.

Yes etc... some manufacturers have indicated that any orientation other than upside down is okay. But if you really wanna get into the mud, here ya go:

Well I'm saying the MPPT values reported by the SRNE are accurate and the NE Solar 370W are averaging 400W under ideal conditions.
14x400=5600, meaning I'm not losing out on much when I see clipping at 5500W.

I adjusted the ground mount a few days ago, it's optimized for next month. This is probably why I didn't see any clipping today.

My batteries top out by 11am in the sun. The rest of the day is wasted :(

I plan ahead by cranking the heating dump loads up early in the day if the sun will be shining. If I time it right, I hit full charge by about 3 pm this time of the year.

I need to add an electric hot water heater for dump load this summer. I try to use up any excess generation if possible.

I'm learning to do that as well.... :)

What's with all the ugly red when you have so much yellow?

Same here.

I've being using a water distiller frequently, 3.5 hour cycles. Great way to use up ~2.5KWh consistently. I normally run 3 cycles a day during the week, more on the weekends if the sun is shining.

I'm hoping my local dealer finds me a Bolt EUV so I'll rarely waste anything.

Only half my house is on battery. I basically live in a duplex (1553 sq ft and 800 sq ft). For some reason the LVX6048 running the 800 sq ft side likes to sip the grid even when there is plenty of solar. The 6000EX is on battery full time (well unless the batteries drain down). That's why I am in such a hurry (sarcasm) to get the last 10 panels on the roof. At least I got the new unit on the wall...

I turn the AC breaker off this time of year to prevent any grid usage. I had the breaker on late December and January but once the days got a little longer, temps rose and the skies did clear for longer than 20 minutes, I had excess so no need to have that breaker on. Even if the inverters went down, the house won't be so cold to freeze pipes. If I was planning on being gone for a few days with an uncertain weather forecast, I'd turn it back on.

17 280Ah Battero Tech for $73.665 / cell delivered from China.
33 280Ah Battero Tech for $73.069 / cell delivered from China.

I'm leaning towards paying a little more, ordering 17 and waiting for pricing to drop more then ordering double... Decisions.

I know you guys were complaining about your battery percentages being off. Check out how far off mine are. I have a feeling the consumption of the unit itself is not factored in. This drift seemed to occur over time for me

@42OhmsPA who did you order them from
Gobel.

I don't care if they are old stock or rejects etc... As long as they hold close to capacity and are somewhat uniform I'll be happy.
Currently my 3 packs rarely see over 0.2C, mainly during charging when they do.
With 4,5,6 etc packs eventually in parallel they will be babied...

How long has it been since they have seen a full charge? BMS consumption or inverter?
I agree the inverter isn't factored into SA.
What browser are you using to get dark mode?

Mine are behaving much better now that they been charging full almost daily.

Sigh. I hate when you do this shit. Seems like it always leads to me following along 🤣

Excited to see your feedback on them sir

Thats about the same thing my tp6048 has made mw wise but you've had your for a shorter time but have more panels than I do :)

Browser is my phone. I think it does it automatically. I don't think my batteries have ever been fully charged with this inverter. In fact we are close enough that your solar figures are nearly identical to mine, if you take into account my significantly less pv. Yes obviously they would benefit from balance every day, but you know the weather has not allowed that
