Just Learned: Most Victron Multiplus II's *Do Not* Support Parallel Operation

If it is still of interest, I heard that updating the multiplus II 48/8000 to version 508 would make it work in parallel with another one of the same.

I haven't yet gotten confirmation from anyone at Victron yet, but hoping to get it.

That would certainly be of interest. That's what we originally wanted. Installing this Quattro 15K was no small feat for the wife and I off grid. Damn thing is heavy! And it uses a lot of power just to run itself which isn't helpful. The Multiplus II has much less of a parasitic load I believe.

Would be great if what you heard is true.

Zero load in worst case scenario for M II 8000 is rated at 29W. In winter I keep it in AES, which lowers it to 19W
