Hi, I’m also exploring it but most of the solutions are heavy, noisy, bulky and does not produce enough to justify the cost. I’m looking for a 48V turbine, small, silent and with decent ROI.
You may want to consider this. They ship in around 7 days.

I don't think they will just give you the 20kwh battery for $2K without any strings. This seems like a home backup system via battery and without any Solar or a generator unless I'm reading it incorrectly.
Attached the new wire and it is recognizing only one battery aka the Master battery at address 1 and the other battery at address 2 is not displayed in Solar assistant.
Very detailed explanation. Thank you for that.
BTW - I was reviewing SolarAssistant website today and they are claiming that battery connection can happen via CAN (see attached).
True from spec perspective :-(
What could be another option to resolve this issue perhaps put a new similar AIO in parallel with the current one (this will increase the capacity by another 4KW per leg) or replace the existing one with 15K AIO?
Hi, Thanks for your response.
Yes, the dryer is 5KW here is the load power information (pulled from Solar assistant) as an evidence when I ran it yesterday. This number (under Load power) includes the regular load of 200-400W as well.
Observation - I was looking at the product description of the inverter that I have. It says below (marked in red). So shouldn't the Dryer and Microwave be able to run at the same time (in my case) without the fault code 14; because the max peak power is 16000W...
Alright, I installed the SolarAssistant yesterday. Fairly easy (took 1 hour from start to end). I was not sure which inverter type to select and that is the item took little longer.
Back to the fault code 14 issue -
When microwave is run today, the following was the load on each phase. Phase 2...
For those interested in 100ah stackable modular battery options, the representative told me that they have a US stock available for these. She did not confirm me the price yet. See attached documentation for more details.
Looks like this option is getting popular now as compared to behemoth...
Thank you for putting this together. Looks like the price is almost the same (around $150kwh after exchange rate conversion) with the built in floor standing batteries delivered to your door in US with warranty and support. See below for more details -...
The Orange PI is connected with the Inverter (SungoldPower 8K hybrid) via USB A to USB B cable. I followed all the initial steps on the SolarAssistant website.
Ordered another one (280ah) for the similar price I originally paid (at the start of the thread). It seems building battery pack DIY route (with raw cells) is not cost effective anymore even if you value your time to certain extent. The delivery will be in 7-12 days. I will update once received.
Thanks 42OhmsPA, I’m working on installing the Orange PI.
The issue that was initially reported (in the beginning of the thread) did not occur so changing the microwave to a different leg helped.
I did another test today and ran the dryer 5000W with Microwave 1600W with the idle load of around...
Hi,
I have a Sungoldpower 8K 48V Hybrid inverter and around 20kwh battery pack.
This is the link of the inverter -
https://sungoldpower.com/products/8kw-off-grid-solar-inverter-ul1741
Today, the inverter shut off the ‘AC out’ and threw a fault code 14 (Overload inverter). At that time, the...
