    Heat Pump water Heaters

Yea, they weren't very reassuring, but you can't always trust reviews... Lots of members here have been running them without issue. My brother has one in his house that's been working well for years. He did have something on it fail shortly after he bought the house but said it was warrantied.

    SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

If you do decide to order them I'll be curious if you are hit with an additional weight charge as well or if they have corrected the issue after my experience.

Rich Solar RS-H6548 only $569.99 free shipping (+tax) direct from Rich Solar w/ code "WP6500"

Hahaha, that's the first time I've been called sweetie on here....delete. I wasn't making assumptions I was asking questions. What is the issue causing you to return the equipment?

    You have the 10KW iirc.

    SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

Ending up paying an additional $25 after some back and forth. I was close to saying cancel it out of principle but I really want these....

What was your most interesting recent non solar project?

Nearly spit out my soup 🤣

    Two banks in one rack?

See the replies from the members above. I've learned lots from them since becoming a member here. I would not parallel them until SOC is within a few %.

    QO vs Homeline

Even better, grid won't even be connected to it, the grid connection is in it's own isolated panel, the only output will be a rectifier for battery charging, if needed. Ahh, I should have been clearer, I can see how my statement was confusing. No grid tie here.... When I find land to build on...

    QO vs Homeline

I ordered 2 60A. I know I'm breaking the rules but I'm a rebel at times. It's a 200A main. I'm doing it this way so it's isolated from the grid and easy to pull down and relocate when I move. I can put the house back to original in an hour if needed. The thought crossed my mind today to...

    Expert Power 100 AH Battery

It's most likely sleeping, hit it with a charger and wake it up.

    QO vs Homeline

Negative, the sole purpose of this one is to parallel 2 10KW inverters and feed back to the 'main' panel. Future panels will be QO as well.

    Two banks in one rack?

I don't think so. I would hope so. I disagree. Assuming wiring to the bus bar is equal length and resistance is the same (no bad connections) I really don't see any issues. It shouldn't matter if the PowerPro goes empty first, the 6 server rack shouldn't see more than 0.5C rates if...

    QO vs Homeline

I'll be a repeat Zoro customer, talk about fast shipping... The case of the QO feels thicker than the Homeline; I just have to remember where I set my calipers down last to verify... I didn't realize this one came with 2 ground bars, one with a large lug; nice.

    Two banks in one rack?

See attached, I'd also add a disconnect between the inverter and bus bar. I'm no expert, just really bored at work. Sorry my quick drawing isn't as good as something from @FilterGuy .

Do the 80v ryobi mowers suck?

30" deck would suck but I'm used to a 60". Replacement diy batteries might not be as simple. Check Craigslist and marketplace...

    Rethinking my battery box

Give your local steel suppliers, machine shops, or weld shops a call... You could also used my screwed up logic, it's justification for new tools.

    Weird issue with 6000XP 🤷‍♂️

Personally I'd open the packs and bleed off the high cells and/or charge up the low cells with a bench charger. You've been dealing with this way to long.

Maybe I should build a still?

I saw that a while ago, really neat. I've contemplated something similar mamy times, when I find my forever home. I still think a still is a good idea, just don't go battery powered Stilhl.

    Two banks in one rack?

That makes more sense but I still don't see how it would cause an issue.

    Where to buy busbar material

I'd check Zoro as well. https://www.zoro.com/copper-bar-stock/c/15236/

Maybe I should build a still?

Buy another minisplit, build an indoor greenhouse and start growing fruit to use in your still. 🤔

    Two banks in one rack?

I see zero reason this would create a balancing issue if wired correctly, positive to the top of + bus and negative to bottom of - bus or vice versa. Many members are running 6 packs in parallel and this is the first of heard of only having 3... Why sell a 6 slot cabinet if this is the case...

    SRNE 12kW IP65 HES and 10kW ASP

I'll have to start a new thread... $2229.74 for 2 10kW ASPs, DDP airfreight and baba fee included.

    DIY 48v battery pack and EG4 6500

Look for threads with the LV6548 as well... Pretty much the same inverter, main difference being max VOC pending model year.

    QO vs Homeline

I've only ever used 2 hands for my Homeline covers but I can see where an extra would be handy. Opening the door, lining up the cover, closing the door and pressing it in place with 1 hand while starting the screws with the other can be a pita; especially when you let the cover slide and knock...

    QO vs Homeline

Thanks for all the good discussion. I ordered the 125A QO panel from Zoro yesterday. I'll post some comparison photos to my 200A Homelines when it arrives. Again I've had no issues with the Homeline but if there is something better I want it, I know I'll be pushing the new system. Now my...

Can Solar & Wind Fix Everything (e.g., Climate Change) with a battery break-through?

I think there will be some shading issues with that layout.

    Exhaust for whole house genset

I did get a chuckle out of the chain around the gas line below the meter. Hopefully it makes someone dumb think twice. It would probably be easier to cut the gen frame than the chain.

    Exhaust for whole house genset

Wouldn't that put it right next to the meter box and dryer vent? If the muffler extension falls out of the black pipe could exhaust gas be pushed back through the vent?

    That's my guess as well.

What's the trick to fitting 0 gauge wire on this breaker

I forget where I first saw it, probably here, it's worked great the few times I've used it. I've also used @Supervstech 's method with success. @ericfx1984 you could also use a Midnite breaker with a lug on your cable.
