This did indeed solve it. I made cables with just pins 1-5 and this problem went away.

Thank you so much for this. So with the LL-S V4 and the LL V2 Batteries I had to do the following: Couldn't get them to work with just 4/5 on the Battery Coms connections. So had to hook up 1/2 4/5 and that got all 5 batteries (2 LL-S V4 and 3 LL V2) talking to the inverter with the battery...

Did something change with the latest firmware? I set the first battery to id 64, unplug all battery com cables, and well as all RS485 cables, turn off the breaker and cycle the BMS. Then hold the enter button below the LCD for 5 seconds (did way longer as well) and never get the screen to set...

so all 5 batteries are now on Z02T18 as this appears to be the latest from downloads. However as soon as I connect the battery coms the 2 new ones still go to immediate error.

That's what I thought. The guides all say "0" now.

How do I set the battery to ID 0? The docs show 1-64 with the DIP switches, but the upgrade directions stateL: "Set the battery's dip switch ID you are updating to ID:0"

I have been really pleased with the Chargeverter. I just wish I could change charging AMPs remotely, and monitor output, but works great on gen or grid.

I just did this over the weekend. Updated 3 batteries to the latest firmware, set dip switches to 1, 2, 3 batteries are set to EG4 and inverter is set to EG4. Everything is working. Make sure you use the Orange cable (at least that was the color my inverter came with)

Got mine installed this last weekend. Talking about security, is there anyway to either turn off the SSID broadcast or set a password for it? As it is anyone and their mom running the EG4 app on their phone can connect to that wifi from the device and change the config. I can't see any place...

I agree I have an LVX6048WP and if I use the micro USB port my SA Raspi continues to receive power after I unplug it from the power supply. If I use the serial cable it shuts off immediately, so some cheap design of the control board is pushing power back out the usb port on the inverter.

I am using it to talk to my MPP as well as plugged into each EG4 LL V2 battery to give me details. No issues.

I use Solar Assistant to read info from my EG4 V2 batteries, anywhere I have Internet. You could us a small tablet or old phone to have it up on screen all the time.

It usually takes them 24 hours to respond.

with the 6000xp connecting to EG4 LL V2 batteries are there any issues? Any firmware versions that need to be worried about?
