Hello All!;
I have multiple vers1 Valence batteries and trying to solve communicating with them. I have built the Arduino BMS and successfully have it communicating with Vers.2 batts but can't seem to break the mystery of vers1 wakeup.
I have tried sending wakeup over various settings, 9600, 8N1, 9600, 8N2, 9600 8E1...etc and then listening on all kinds of settings ranging from 9600, 57600, 115200 etc...no dice. I thought maybe the wakeup message is different vers1 - 2? I have tried multiple W/U messages based on info I found regarding other Valence batts as well as placing a small load on the batt to 'enable' it.
My thought is if I could get my hands on an old Valence SW version, maybe I can wireshark it to discover what is going on with the W/U message from the old version to the .12 vers. Problem is I can't find anything other than the .12 vers. Wondering if you have an older version or have any suggestions to try?
