So i did a thing...

If it fits it ships, def looks like you were able to get most of that 4awg in there.

My only thought is that due to the twist, it may not of fully seated at the tip.

Due to no window kinda hard to tell they are fully seated, but it’s prob good enough as I dont foresee placing much more than 100-150a through my cable leads.

I used 2/0 and it's been working fine.

I need to make one of these but I just can't bring myself to drilling a packout tote... I might have to go crappy yellow 😂
I lied.

Do i see a gap on thw terminal? There should NOT be any washer under thw lug.
There are zero washers, it must be the angle. The only time I would consider a washer would be on the top of everything for better clamping force.

Cell terminal, lug, ring terminal serrated flange nut.

Thank you for checking. 👍🏻

I’m thinking I’ll try 1awg.

1/4” lug for the cells, and 5/16 for my battery terminal posts.

Hey Lt.Dan, thanks for sharing this! Question: Do you happen to remember where you purchased the VIP BMS with Bluetooth? I have four batteries with this BMS and I'm trying to hunt down more information on the unit. Thanks!
It came out of a premade and was given to me by a friend. I have no idea where to buy them unfortunately.
