Solar layout diagram software: what do you use?

I've seen many solar layout diagrams lately and I'd like to map mine out before I do any purchasing.

What do you guys use for creating your solar layout diagrams? Word, PowerPoint, Visio or something more specific to this hobby?

I downloaded the Inkscape tool and I'll (eventually) give it a try. The videos I saw made the connector lines with arrows look rather crude. The tip of the arrow was inside the object instead of on the edge of the object. Not a huge deal, I'll just not use arrowheads. I prefer a tool that is a local install instead of a cloud based tool like draw.io. I used draw.io for my diagram and it was a little clunky, but that may have been my lack of experience with it.

Schematic/diagram/drawing tools for Solar

That is most likely an embedded png image. I tested it. The recipient gets a full blown editable drawing, not an image. The URLs work. The issue is pasting them into the forum or TinyURL, as they do processing on all URLs, and choke in that process. As for what's in the URLs? A friend of...
