Wiring multiple battery banks

Hello,

I am a newbie stuck with the question, how to wire two rack mount battery banks.
I currently have 8- 50ah 48 rack mount in one bank that does not communicate with inverters.
and another battery bank - 3 pytes ebox 4800 100ah in another that can communicate with my 3 lv6548.
My main question is how should i Wire this? two separate banks connecting to a common busbar? or should i combine all into one large battery bank with a single busbar?
And as far as communication, connect the pytes to the inverter, and it would essentially control the larger bank? or stay with Use mode?

I would connect each bank to a common bus bar. From that bus bar you would then run a connection to your inverters.

As far as the communication goes, even if you set up comms to the pytes batteries, the state of charge will always be off due to the other battery bank. Might be better to keep in USE.

To accurately track the state of charge, look at adding a shunt to keep track of your entire battery bank as a whole.
