As I read different posts I try and imagine where they are located.Sometimes the person says "Im in Australia of the UK" but more specific location might be nice. For example Im in Canada but more specifically B.C. If the person could give a better location others could better identify with their problem/situations. I wonder if this could be incorporated in the bio area.

That's why I chose my username so people would have some idea how far from the equator I am and, by implication, how much sun I'm getting.

Not everyone wants to advertise their location. I can see where user location could be useful.

Of course not. There are legitimate reasons to not want people to know in which city you reside also.
