eg4 6000xp as a "generator"?

Will mentions supplementing an 18kpv with the 6000xp by calling it a "generator" at about 6:20 in this video -

I can't find anything in the manuals about it and I'm curious about doing exactly this. Anybody know more?

Just connect output of 6000xp to generator input of 18kpv. Should work, a few forum members tried it out. I need to

I've played a bit with this, but not gotten it to work. I think it's something with the settings. @Will Prowse that would be a great video!

would it make sense to do this if you upgraded your batteries and still wanted to use your old lead acid bank?

I was planning to connect my garage to the house (everything is off-grid) and dump any excess from the garage to the home. The garage runs the well pump and the cell signal booster.
