Victron Orion Voltage Drop

Instead of guessing or making educated assumptions, why not test to find the voltage drop?

Can you adjust the charge current on the non-isolated battery chargers? If so, adjust the current down to the point that on will continuously run. Then start measuring for voltage drop.
Your problem could be using the chassis for negative return, or one of what appear to be, about 27 other connections between the chargers and alternator.

No you can't adjust charge current on Orion DC to DC converters. Only the new Orion XS allows to adjust the charge current

Too bad, that would have made fault finding easier. Set the volt meter to min/max mode, hook it up, and then start the Orion. It might take a few tries to locate the voltage drop, but reset and move the meter leads until you locate it.

Locating the exact source of the voltage drop will be better than guessing.
