Instead of guessing or making educated assumptions, why not test to find the voltage drop?
Can you adjust the charge current on the non-isolated battery chargers? If so, adjust the current down to the point that on will continuously run. Then start measuring for voltage drop.
Your problem could be using the chassis for negative return, or one of what appear to be, about 27 other connections between the chargers and alternator.
