SUNGOLD 10KW 48V SPLIT PHASE SOLAR INVERTER

Here is 04

It won’t let me change it, I save close out of menu open right back up and it’s back to 49.2

My 61 use to say 10% but now says 14%

@Kenny_ and @CaliSunHarvester are you sure yours is letting you change ID 61?

If you change it to 18% save then close out, then open back up it will read %18?
Yep...that's that closed loop krap at work.
Made me crazy back in the day...

I’ve done three shutdowns. I contacted the manufacturers to send a video. But this is a strange problem since it was working fine for two weeks.
"
Restart the inverter after restoring the factory settings (disconnect the mains, PV and batteries, reconnect the batteries after 5 minutes and switch the inverter on)

Restored to factory settings:
only power on the machine via battery, Press and hold the UP and DOWN buttons simultaneously for 10 seconds , A flashing box will appear at the screen ,and will have tick tock, then shut off the machine, and reboot the machine."

I just disconnected everything possible. Yes, I do think it has something to so with the array, but not sure why. I have 130v - 160v in each PV connection and only maybe 3amps per. Seems unlikely it was over-voltage but there does not seem to be any other explanation. How long does I leave everything disconnected to ensure the reset? And is there no “hard” reset?

Thank you! I couldn’t find this info anywhere.

There is no Hard Reset other than to completely disconnect everything and wait maybe 5-10 minutes and then restart per the manual.
You can also try the above to reset to factory but then you'll have to re-enter any changes/customizations you have made.

You're welcome. It came directly from SRNE when I had a random fault 12.

What are your panel specs? 3A seems awfully low.

You’re right it is low. At the moment it’s cloudy here so I can’t see what the Panels take in typically. But they are 14 200w 24v panels at the moment.

What is your array set up?

I did have it hooked up previously. Everything is disconnected at the moment. The AC was punching just a couple of amps as well. But this was by design, I didn’t want to run everything through the inverter until I knew it was up and running properly. I guess that was a good thing now that it’s down.

Sorry, you’re right. Again, it’s raining and I can’t go up to check. But if I remember correctly - 12 are up right now. 2 have not been connected. So 4 and 4 on one and 4 panels on the other.

I don’t think this method works on this model

What's the VOC of the panels? You may not be hitting minimum startup (thinking out loud)? Is it working besides the error?

Your inverter should be identical to the SGP, not certain though.

I think I reset mine by holding down the up and down arrow keys while powering on the inverter. Check battery type and BMS communications to see if they reset to defaults, then you will know you got a factory default reset.
