Got my order placed with Amy. Adding a fourth 24v battery to the first build and adding cases and JK inverter BMS to them. Will pull the 4 weakest cells and build a 12v battery for other uses.

My other unit is a Multiplus 24v, 3k, 3000. It is a nice unit. The advantage to the earlier units is that they are shorter, albeit a little deeper or thicker than my second unit which is the Multiplus II. This could be an advantage in smaller spaces if the 12v is similar.

For a few dollars more you can buy a brand new unit from Current Connected which effectively has a 10 year warranty. Ok more than a few dollars but you would be getting both support and warranty.

Same here. In this case with my portable build. The Multiplus handles neutral to ground bonding internally based on whether it is connected to grid or stand alone.

The first photo shows the position of the upper support bar positioned below the Multiplus exhaust port. The second shows the ambient temperature after the charge mode has been running for a while with the cooling fan running.

Well it turns out this is a 16s2 pack. It is a server rack design. He ordered one and will be putting it through its paces before ordering more.

So had a situation recently where I needed to replace the glass fuse for a Victron dongle. While the documentation mentioned a fuse there was nothing indicating what was needed or where to get it. Perhaps adding a replacement set to your inventory?

If one is doing a fresh build, e.g. new cells and or cases then this is a great opportunity to utilize the latest technology. On the other hand, this can also be a great opportunity for change if one is taking apart a previous build, checking and organizing cells and placing in a new battery case.

Food for thought. I have the older style in my portable built and the 4.3 inch screen. Love the screen. Still deciding on the other.
