If you plug two panels together so you have one positive from one panel that plugs to one negative on a different panel, that makes it one panel, it doesn't need a fuse between the panels, just one fuse per string so it doesn't need all four fuses just 2, I will attach photos, I happen to have that combined box and 4 panels laying around

The way your drawing is, is correct, and will work, the fusing of the panels individually was not necessary when you do 2 strings you only have to fuse the individual strings
